How to make your perfume last all day?

(Tips & mistakes to avoid)

You love your perfume, but after a few hours... poof, gone! 😩
Don't worry, it's not inevitable. With the right tips (and by avoiding certain mistakes), you can make your fragrance last from morning to night.

🌟 1. Apply your perfume to the right strategic points

So-called “pulse points” are areas where the skin is warmer and brings out the fragrance:

Behind the ears

Inside the wrists

At the base of the neck

Behind the knees (yes yes!)

On the hollow of the elbows

👉 Avoid rubbing your wrists together after spraying: you break up the olfactory molecules, and your perfume evaporates faster!

💧 2. Moisturize your skin

Dry skin absorbs perfume faster… and makes it evaporate faster.
🧴 Pro tip: Apply a neutral cream or oil (or even one that matches your fragrance) before spraying.
Hydration = better perfume hold.

👕 3. Also spray on clothes (carefully)

A light spray on your scarf, coat or shirt collar is a great way to prolong the wear.
⚠️ Be careful with delicate fabrics: test on a hidden area, especially with colored perfumes.

❌ 4. Mistakes to avoid

Don't perfume your skin right after a hot shower: your pores are open, the perfume evaporates faster.

Avoid using too much perfume: your nose gets used to it, but not others... and it can quickly become overwhelming.

Don't mix too many scents (shower gel, deodorant, cream, perfume). It disrupts your scent.

🔄 5. What if your perfume doesn't last at all?

💡 It might not be right for you. Eau de toilette products have a shorter lifespan than eau de parfum or extracts.
At Olfaglam, we offer perfume extracts inspired by major brands, made in Italy, with a beautiful concentration.
Do you want a fragrance that lasts? You've come to the right place ✨

✨ In summary:

Spray in the right places

Moisturize your skin

Subtly perfume your clothes

Avoid classic mistakes
And above all: choose a quality perfume 😉
